Incentives: |
|
The rewards given out to respondents for participating in
the research studies are called incentives. The incentives
vary from study to study and from company to company.

Interviewer: |
|
The person who administers a questionnaire for a certain
study or recruits people for a focus group discussion is
called an interviewer.
|
|
In-house Recruiting: |
|
In-house recruiting is when the focus group participants
are from the company’s database or are physically present in
the company facility.
|
|
Interviewer Error: |
|
Interviewer error is the bias introduced by the interviewer
during the process of the interview. This error may be
induced unconsciously or consciously simply because of
faulty interviewing techniques.

|
Interviewer's Instructions: |
|
Interviewer’s instructions are the written instructions
given to the interviewers prior to an interview. These are
guidelines as to how the interview should generally proceed.
