American Consumer Opinion (ACOP)

American Consumer Opinion (ACOP) consists of a worldwide network of people who get paid for sharing their opinions and ideas by answering online surveys. If you are willing to become a part of this network, they will give you the chance to win money in their monthly draws, just for being a member. You’ll also be entered into draws for filling out one of their short questionnaires, and you’ll also be paid each time you complete one of their longer, more complex surveys. If this sounds like something you could do, then you’ll need to head through to American Consumer Opinion’s website and sign up.

The monthly draws that are available to all members are for a significant $250 in cash awards, typically vouchers. The prizes available for the screeners, or shorter questionnaires, are likely to be similar, while ACOP make a commitment to offering incentives for every single long questionnaire that you participate in, be it free products, cash, cheques or gifts.

If you take part in their focus groups or surveys, you’ll get between $4 and $50, depending on the length and complexity of the project. Online focus groups typically earn you more than $25 – more than a decent reward for sharing your opinion.

After that, full speed ahead. I've been a member for just a few months now. The first few weeks, not a peep. Maybe 6 weeks in, I started to get preliminary screeners here and there to see if I qualified for upcoming surveys. I took them-and nothing. About 3 weeks ago, I took a screener and qualified! I did the survey then and there. Quick, easy, enjoyable....and paid 8 dollars for about 15 minutes. Since then, I've been getting several surveys from acop every week. The lowest paying one was for 4dollars. This is a great site. I think they feel prospective panelists out a bit before they bless you with bountiful surveys. Don't get discouraged if you screen out with acop. Remember, this is all about demographics. When the surveys come, they come fast and furious. They pay well, and any technical problems are addressed in a very timely fashion. I love acop! They are always very good at picking survey participants, and payments are always good. The only thing I have recently had an issue with it the monthly contest. I guess I won a monthly prize draw, and although you are told the monthly prize draws are for $10,000, there was only $5.00 in my account. I emailed them and am waiting for a reply. I won in April, however I was never notified, so I only noticed when I checked my account balance. Overall, they are good and usually trustworthy. After completing surveys and requesting a cash out, I waited 2 months to this date and did not receive a cash out. Up until this point, I thought they were ok to deal with, but I will not be doing any of their surveys any more, as they suddenly stopped paying their survey takers. It does actually seem like a legitimate survey panel but my experience with them hasn't been very positive so far. I've been with them for over a year now. First of all, they send very few screenings for surveys. And the few that they do send, I haven't qualified for any of them at all.
