Consumer Research Centre

The Consumer Research Centre is a Canadian market research company that has been in the business for over 17 years. Although their offices and focus group facilities are located in Vancouver, British Columbia, they have expanded their services to include the management of projects throughout Canada.

The Consumer Research focus group facility is one of Vancouver’s largest, and they are situated in an area of the city which is easily accessible by public transportation, and which has a variety of amenities surrounding it, all of which will make interacting with them somewhat easier. As an added feature, their facility is the only one in Western Canada that offers live internet video streaming of focus groups – something which will make it possible to participate from any one of a number of locations.

While they are primarily concerned with facilitating focus groups, they also conduct a large number of research using online surveys. The focus groups last up to two hours and will pay between $50 and $75, while the online surveys are much shorter (often less than 10 minutes each), and will give you entry into a draw for $100 for every 200 panellists, with the value of the cash prize increasing in line with the complexity of the survey.
