Experimental Psychology labUlf-Dietrich Reips founded the Experimental Psychology Lab in 1995, and since then this organization have conducted a large number of web-based experiments based around data collection. They have a comprehensive list on their website of all of the experiments that have been conducted, and as a member of this site you will be able to participate in some of these. This lab is still only run by a single person, and as such it does not have a designated laboratory budget. Despite this, the online lab attracts approximately 4500 people a month, and they thus pride themselves on collecting information that is reliable and accurate. The studies that have already been conducted have been done so in a variety of ways. However they typically make use of classic forms of experiments in cognitive and social science. According to the lab, there are a number of advantages to doing the experiments over the internet. Firstly, they are able to include an international sample, participation is convenient and can be done in the participants own time, and sometimes it is even the only way to reach a significant number of subjects from specialized population groups. To become a part of these studies, and for more information on those that are currently available, you can visit the website. General Information
