Lighthouse International is a leading global non-profit organization that is dedicated to preserving vision, and to helping people of all ages overcome the challenges of vision loss. According to their website, the need for vision healthcare services is more critical now than at any time in our history, owing to people living longer under conditions that adversely affect their eyes. This organization therefore does a lot of important work in this field, and they have made it their mission to assist those in need of vision restoration and treatment.

In order to achieve these goals, they are constantly conducting new research into the field of vision, and at any given time they have several research projects investigating visual function in individuals with both normal and impaired vision. All of their studies are non-invasive, and involve easy-to-perform tasks, and the majority of them make use of state of the art hardware and software. If you are interested in participating, you can register on the Lighthouse website, after which they will contact you with further information. You must, however, be over the age of 18 to participate, and participation is entirely voluntary.
