Microsoft Playtest

Microsoft has just launched Playtest, where they invite you to “come to Microsoft, play games, give your opinion”, and receive free software in exchange. They are looking for people from all walks of life to participate in this project, and they don’t mind if you’re 6 years old or 60 years old, whether you play once a year or every day, or whether you are a regular gamer or never played a game in your life before.

If you are interested in participating in this interesting project, it will take just a few minutes to register before you are eligible. Once you have completed the form you will be added to the Microsoft Playtest database, and you will be contacted as soon as they have a study that matches your specific background and details.

The majority of the Playtest sessions take place at specially demarcated facilities, and you will have to be prepared to travel there if you are interested in participating. And, if the study is a lengthy one that runs over the weekend, they will even offer you meal options to make your time there more enjoyable.

Once the study is over, you will also be provided with some form of gratuity items, usually in the form of software programs.
