Nielsen’s Mobile Panel
The Nielsen Company is offering residents of the United States, aged
18 years or older, the opportunity to participate in a research study
that pertains to mobile phone usage. This opportunity allows panelists
the chance to shape what products and services will be available to
mobile phone users in the future, and could potentially revolutionize
the way in which we not only receive these products and services, but
also the way in which we will use them. Still not sure? Well this is how
it works – Simply log on to the Nielsen Mobile Panel website, register
as a panel member through their online sign up form, then download and
install the application to your mobile phone, and wait to receive your
rewards.
The application that you are downloading and installing on your phone
will go to work itself, and report back valuable information on what
type of applications and games you may use; how often you use it; how
much you talk or text; the network performance of your phone, including
the battery performance level and signal quality; and also the address
and content of websites you may visit, among other things. Overall,
installing the application will not affect the battery life of your
phone, nor will it affect the way in which you use it, it’s just a way
of collecting usage data to report back to the mobile phone industry to
help improve products and services for all. If you are interested in

| Comment: This is a great way to earn points towards gift cards
without doing anything besides using your phone like
you normally do. The only downside is that you can
only earn so many points in a months timeframe. I have
been a member for 5 months and now have enough points
to get a $10 gift card. I would like to earn a $100
gift card however based on the current point system, it
would take me 2-3 years. |

| Comment: This is a great way to earn rewards for just using your
phone. The application does not interfere with your
cell phone, or drain the battery. It's a very simple
sign up process. They also offer at this time
additional prize points monthly. The prizes offered
are nice, nothing cheap or 'unwanted' type items. I'm
glad I ran into this program! |

Comment: I wish I could give this LESS than one star and not
just a "not recommend" but a "stay away and don't
return and don't even think about dealing with these
guys" option.
Oh, they're great about taking your information, and
great about rewarding points. However, when it comes
to actually trading in your points for rewards? That's
where things go south. They have contracted with
Grassroots which is some kind of rewards place to do
their rewards and this place is a real joke. Not only
do they NOT respond to customer service inquiries (even
before they turned more aggressive) but the service
they provide is non-existent! I ordered a GC from
Amazon that was to be emailed to me. After waiting a
week I tried contacting them, no response. I gave it
another week, then another before going full throttle
into finding out where my email was with the info that
I traded points for. No response!!! I finally found
some guy from marketing's email on their site and
emailed him directly, all he did was write back empty
promises and nothing was ever done. Here it is,
approximately 6 weeks after ordering the EMAIL and I've
not only yet to receive anything but I just canceled my
order and deleted Nielsen's information from my phone.
Don't bother with this side of Nielsen's
promotions...you won't be anything but DIS-satisfied. |

| Comment: It's nice because you don't really have to do anything
at all - just use your phone as normal. I almost
forgot about the application until I got an email
saying I received some more points. When I went to the
site to see what I could redeem the points for, I
already had enough for a microwave! Who knew?! |
