Sky Trax Surveys

Skytrax is a market research organization that considers itself to be the leading quality advisor to airlines and airports from around the world, and they have established an Airline Star Ranking and Quality Certified Airline program to facilitate this process. Skytrax aims to advise airlines, airports, and other product and service suppliers to the world air transport industry, while at the same time deliver a unique knowledge-base across all aspects of qualitative and consumer research affecting the air travel industry.

They claim to offer a range of competitive performance analysis, and their product and service quality benchmarking are core services that Skytrax provide to more than 110 major airlines every year.

In 1991 they launched a new online panel, and with it online surveys, through which to facilitate this process, and they are currently looking for people to participate in a number of these. At present they are conducting a number of surveys into customer satisfaction at world airports, which aims to investigate the standards at over 500 airports.
