Web Perspectives
According to the Web Perspectives website, they have established
themselves as one of Canada’s premier sources for understanding the
opinions, attitudes, and preferences of all types of Canadians. To
date over 400,000 Canadians have joined the web perspectives online
research panel, and these people are all actively sharing their
views and opinions on a whole range of different topics that matter
to them.
They are currently inviting people to participate in fun and
entertaining online surveys, which will assist various companies and
organisations throughout Canada to better understand their
consumers. By providing research and information in these surveys,
companies will be better positioned to make important decisions
about their products and services, and your input will have a
lasting impact on these.
As a participant in the Web Perspective surveys, you will be
eligible for their cash prize sweepstakes. Every month they conduct
a drawing for five prizes of $1,000, and every member who
participates in their surveys will be entered into this draw.
If you are interested in taking part in the research projects
being conducted by Web Perspectives, you can register directly on
their website, after which they will contact you as soon as surveys
that match your profile become available.

Comment: I have a mixed review of Web Perspectives.
Positives:
I receive at least one survey invitation a day, which
is more than I can say for a lot of survey/research
websites out there.
The incentives for each survey seem to be on par if not
better than any other site as well. They do compensate
you very approriately based on length of the survey.
The cashout threshold of 1000 points is not overly
difficult to reach. When you are completeing a survey
each day or even every second day at an average
incentive of 150 points, they add up quick!
Once you have reached the cash out threshold, the
rewards offered are very good. Unlike a lot of websites
out there, Web Perspectives will pay cash via paypal
instead of cheque, which I personally find very
convenient.
If you choose to cash in your rewards for Air Miles, I
will say that you will receive an email instructing how
to claim the miles within 24 hours.
Negatives:
Like many negative comments on this site, I too hate
the fact that it takes weeks and weeks once you have
completed a survey for your points to go from pending
to credited. To give an example I currently have 350
points credited and 3050 pending. That's $30 worth of
points pending.
Once again, to agree with the many other negative
comments on this site, it takes 2-4 weeks to recieve
payment once you have selected a paypal cash out.
Web Perspectives customer service is no existent. When
you click on "contact us" it is simply a web based
email. I have never received a response within 48 hours
of my email, and on the few times that I have received
a response at all, communication stops after the first
reply.
In conclusion, I can see why so many people are
frustrated with this site and give it a negative
rating. However, I will say that although Web
Perspectives is just all around slow with everything,
they do follow through with payment and I have never
had any disputes regarding disappearing points. For
these reasons I continue to recommend Web Perspectives
to others with the caveat, you have to be patient!

reward points to be deposited in my PayPal account.
This transaction still isn't completed and I've sent 4

Comment: Good survey panel. Receive about 1 cineplex movie
ticket per month. Would get more if I had more time to
do more surveys as I get about 1-2 surveys from them a
day.
Only problem is pending credits remain pending for long
before they turn into usable points. |

Comment: I completely agree with few memebers here. They give
you credit when you do the survey but after few days
they cheat and take out some points from your account,
thinking tht no one will realise about the missing
points.. I keep a tab of the all the survey's that i do
and keep checking them. I have sent them 20 emails
about the missing credit but no one replied back...I
find Opinion outpost the best survey site..I have 3000
points pending from the last one and half month but
they are not crediting it..sometimes i get annoyed as
they have stated within 4-6 weeks but they take more
thne 12-14 weeks to give the credit and thn anther 4-6
weeks to claim it...and btwn that time the surveys u
took initially gets missing from your account.
If you have a lot of patience, you can opt for it!! |

| Comment: WebPerspectives offers fair incentives for their
surveys, which you are offered to take quite
frequently. All seems well, but the issue is in
actually being CREDITED and PAID. Right now in my
account I have 650 points credited - 1000 needed to
cash out - and another 650 that have just been sitting
there for a few weeks now. Surveys are supposed to
credit within a few days. If I were you, I would not
get involved. If you already are, work towards your
cashout, get it (hopefully), and stay the heck away. |

Comment: This was once upon a time, a good survey site that
offered multiple survey invitations daily, paid quickly
and very often received $10 after $10 to my paypal.....
Since the 2nd part of 2010 things have gotten worse
gradually....... Many survey invites but the credits
remain pending for months, NOT ONLY THAT, they cheat
members, they lave your credits pending thinking you
will forget, then they sneak behind you and remove a
few pending projects credits. If you keep tabs of
things you will notice missing 300, missing 800,
missing many pending credits you once had, yet your
main total unchanged.........
As others pointed out they never as much as reply to
your e-mails. This site has allures of a scam....
They once had the better business bureau logo on their
site, it was removed.
I am placing complaints to the BBB and all relevant
authorities to look into such alleged fraudulent
activities.
I advise people not to join this site, they have zero
support and zero respect for panel members.
IT is one of the worst atm, maybe 2nd worst to
zoompanel.
Eventually if you made lots of money and they see they
pay you a lot they will then block you from taking
surveys claiming you cheated or inconsistent data in
your profile when you did nothing and they will never
reply to you.
Big scam. Steer clear.

Comment: SLOW,SLOW,SLOW.
While it is true that WP does send you a fair number of
relevant surveys, that 'pay' fairly well, I find my
usual situation with them is having a $10 cash payment
'pending,' close to 1000 points sitting in my account
waiting to cash in, and me turning down months' worth
of surveys cause i dont want to do it for free. Wether
they think it's a way to keep from paying out or
getting work for free, it's just shooting themselves in
the foot. |

| Comment: First of all, if you don't read any further, please
read this: Don't waste your time with Web Perspectives!
They don't give you what is promised. I agree with the
comments made by F.D. At first, I responded to their
surveys religiously. I mostly redeemed my points (you
need a minimum of 1,000 for a reward) for movie coupons
or Chapters/Indigo gift certificates. It was okay in
the beginning. Then I began to notice that I had
answered surveys that took 30-40 minutes sometimes and
offered 400-500 points in return. The problem was that
those points sat there in my "pending" list for an
unreasonable amount of time. When I contacted customer
service through their online web form, I initially got
a response saying that sometimes if the survey was
conducted by a 3rd party, it took longer to be credited
for the points. So I began to complete only the surveys
that were conducted by Web Perspectives and not a
"partner". Well, that made zero difference! I have
1,000 points sitting in my "pending" list and it has
been months. I sent an inquiry to Web Perspectives back
in August and didn't receive the dignity of a reply. I
then sent another one the 2nd week in November and
haven't heard a thing. I told them that if I didn't
hear from them within 2 business days, I would
unsubscribe and add them to my blocked senders list. I
still haven't heard from anyone. It shows how much they
value their members. What a joke! Do yourself a favour
and forget about joining Web Perspectives. You'll never
get anything out of them for the valuable time you
spend completing surveys! |

at contacting the fictional "Member Services" with NO
resolution, not even so much as a courtesy reply.
Obviously their priorities lie elsewhere. Therefore I
will be unsubscribing and marking ANY email from Web
Perspectives as spam. |

Comment: Web Perspectives is one of the few legitimate survey
websites on the internet today. They do offer great
rewards ranging from cash to gift certificates.
Rewards are not hard to achieve (1000 points for $10),
and I regularly receive surveys offering reward points
ranging from 50 (not usual) to 600. (The average reward
points per survey is around 200).
If you are an Airmiles Collector this site does offer
Airmiles Reward Miles as a reward instead of cash.
After reviewing other survey sites that offers Airmiles
as well, Web Perspectives is definitely the best bang
for your points. (50 airmiles for 1000 reward
points).
The only beef I have with Web Perspectives is that it
does sometimes take a while for your reward points to
be deposited into your account after you finish a
survey. As well, once you claim a cash reward it does
usually take a couple of weeks for it to appear in your
PayPal account.
Overall Web Perspectives is one of the best survey
websites on the internet. |
